My Snake was stuck to tape?!?

ok so i had made this little tube/ramp thingy out of cardboard for my baby corn snake and i had made sure that the sticky side of the tape was on the outside so that would stick to the glass and that my snake wouldnt get stuck to it from the inside, and i wrapped some taped around the sticky parts to help it stay. So it was like a cardboard tube taped to the side of my snake terrarium with a little carboard ramp going up to it. and he LOOOOVED it! he was in it almost all the time. and so today i woke up and saw that he had himself wrapped around the outside of the tube near where it is taped to the glass and i just figured he was resting there cuz ive seen him do that before to his thermometer. So i left him and came back like 2 hrs later and saw he was still there. I figured i check on him just to make sure everything was ok. i went to pick him up but he was stuck to the tape. I guess i missed covering up a spot or two of the tape =[. i took the tube out of the cage with my snake still on it and ran it under some warm water until it became less sticky. then i gently pulled my snake off. i saw that like one little scale was a little flaky but besides that he seemed fine, he was still moving around fine. after i put him back in his cage (and thru the tube away, im never using tape near him again! =O) and i looked up what to do if a snake is stuck to tape and most of the answers said to use olive oil and warm water to get the tape off. i didnt even think to do any of that while he was still on, i just wanted to get him off cuz i felt soooo bad =[. He did have a little bit of stickyness on him so i put him in a tube filled with a tiny tiny bit of warm water and rubbed a little bit of olive oil on him and rinsed it. he seems fine now. but im wondering if theres anything else i should do? i felt sooo bad about it i actually almost starting crying lol cuz i thought he was gonna die =/ so yea i usually feed him on sat. or sun. so should i wait to feed him tomorrow? or go ahead and do it today? and if he seems to eat fine and digest everything does that mean he ok from the tape incident? i just hope hes ok!thanks for any help! =] (oh and sorry if my explaination of the tub sounds confusing lol, im not very good at explaining stuff like that ha.)
